This weekend is my birthday weekend. My birthday is October 31 and I will be turning 15 finally. This year I won't be doing nothing for my birthday because there is really nothing to do but go to the movies. I would rather do nothing or just chill with some friends for the weekend. All I know is I want a lot of stuff for my birthday. I want my nails did, my hair did, some shoes, a couple of outfits, my eyebrows did, some money, another phone and, gifts from people. I can't wait because this weekend is my weekend. 

The quarter is over and I do think I deserve the grades that I have because I work hard in every subject and special except one but I got my grade for that. In the past quarter I learned something new in every subject. Math; multi step equations, Science; body system and, History; Things about my neighborhood. I learned something about myself in English. I learned that I am actually a good writer. I could've worked harder In PE because I have a surprising grade in that class. Teachers can make my academic experience more meaningful by making learning actually fun to do. After I change my ways next quarter I think I will do better and get better grades.

   This week we have started Robotics. So far the steps we had to take is checking the inventory to make sure we had all the tools and pieces we need to start building. When we started building we had to look at steps to put together piece by piece. The steps was easy because they had pictures. I enjoy the team work because I get to work with my best friend. I wouldn't want to work alone because that will just make things harder. I think robotics is important because it shows how well you can follow directions. I cant see myself doing robotics in the future because its not my type of thing to do,but it is fun though.

So far this experience is fun and challenging and takes some thinking. I like how we get to use tools we have never used before because I like to learn to do and use new things. I don't like how the wood shavings get everywhere and all over my clothes and stuff. I don't think anything should be changed. For real, I like it how it is. This experience is different from my other experiences in school because we get to do hands-on things instead of boring pencil and paper work. The only thing I did that's similar to this is build a little bird house for fun. I am learning how to cut wood and use tools I never used before. We are using math basically to figure out things. We communicate with each other and work as a team to get the job done. 

Ingenuity Fest is a 3-day festival celebrating art, music, and technology. I know there will be almost 40,000 people attending at the fest. I want to know why did they invent this event in the first place. I can find out what exactly do they do at this fest. The Ingenuity Fest help our city by producing events that fulfill our mission of exploring where humanity and technology connect. We fit into what the Ingenuity Fest is all about because we also create things and make things happen like they do.

I have a beautiful mother name Gwendolyn and father name Tyrone. My birthday is October 31st and i will be 15. I live on St.Clair, down the street from my best friend(Daveona). I am in the 9th grade at Design Lab Early College High School. My previous school was Wade Park, I been there for 6 years starting from 3rd grade. I have 2 best friends(Daveona & Tatyana) that I met there and we've been friends since the 6th grade.
